Why I predicted JD Vance as Republican VP pick six months before it happened
24 July 2024
I read JD Vance’s memoir, Hillbilly Elegy, a couple of years ago. I had never heard of him, but as I read I became more and more suspicious of the honesty of the stories in it. By the end, I was convinced that Vance was a lying con-man whose “autobiography” was really just a self-serving political piece full of fabrications.
For example, the main point of the book is that Vance grew up in rural Appalachia as a poor white boy. He constantly tells stories of how poor Southern white boys like him are discriminated against by Northern Elites.
But Vance was not born in Kentucky, he was born in a middle class family in Ohio, which, bordering on Canada, is in the Midwest. Vance is definitely a Northerner, through throughout his book he pretends not to be.
Vance’s parents were also born and grew up in Ohio. Even Vance’s often talked about grandparents lived the vast majority of their lives in Ohio, moving there as young teenagers (his much talked about grandmother (mamaw) moved to Ohio at age 13 and his grandfather at age 16.)
Vance’s claim to be a a poor white boy from Appalachia comes from some summer vactions spent in Kentucky with cousins. I spent summer vactions with cousins who lived on a farm in rural Oregon. Does that make me a spokesman on the life of a rural farm boy from Oregon?
Vance went to elite colleges in the North and then moved to California, where he was a protoge of Peter Thiel. Peter Thiel is a conservative libertarian billionnaire who is trying hard to remove democracy in America. You can read about the libertarian billionnaire plans here: https://kimgriest.medium.com/yes-wealthy-libertarians-really-are-your-problem-46555278d883
My favorite writing of Thiel is where he says, in the CATO Institute magazine, that many current problems in America can be traced back to giving women the right to vote in the 1920s. Yes, he really said that, and it is consistent with his and Vance’s goals for America. See the above article.
After reading Vances “memoir”, I predicted Vance would be picked by the conservative/libertarian billionnaires as a politician. He is an excellent performer, good at conning ordinary people into thinking his lies are genuine and that he one of them; that is, perfect for conservative/libertarian politics. In fact, more than six months before the Republican Convention, I predicted Vance would be chosen as Trump’s VP.
I didn’t think he would chosen by Trump. Trump is too far along in his dementia to be capable of any subtle strategies. I predicted that the wealthy libertarians who control the Republican party would pick Vance. In fact, many sources say that Vance was pushed hard by Trump’s large donors, especially Thiel, just as I predicted.
If Trump wins, I now predict that he is likely to become “incapaciated” before the end of his term, allowing Vance to take over. The wealthy liberatians/conservatives want someone who is easily controlled or already aligned with their program to turn the US into a autocracy. Vance has proved himself an excellent liar with a convincing story that can fool people into trusting him, and is also very aligned with project 2025 and the rest of the libertarian agenda described in my article above. For fooling the public, he is the perfect “down home” vice-president for the campaign trail, and when Trump is incapitated or dies, he will be the perfect tool for implementing the libertarian agenda.
You have been warned! Whether or not Trump wins, project 2025 is just the beginning of the libertarian plan for America. Read my article for more predictions of what is to come, and to see what we can do about it.
